Retrieve SA data for future ROM rebuilds with demo software.

Post by elevtechlift »

Greetings all!
I just downloaded the demo software. I know it's read only but how do I read and backup the necessary modules and/or data from SA for future ROM rebuilds? Can this process be done with a HDD connected to a USB dock or do I need to directly connect the HDD to the PC motherboard's SATA/IDE or via PCI/PCIe?

Thanks again for the clarifications! Will this process also work via eSATA/eSATAp? Does eSATA/eSATAp also work to write ROM content if I bought a full version of WDMarvel?
