Thank you again! It turns out, my old SONY laptop doesn't work anymore but I just found a donor laptop with an ExpressCard/54 slot running Windows 7. Does WDMarvel support ExpressCard similarly to PCI/PCIe if I use an eSATA/eSATAp to ExpressCard adapter?

If you have unlocked PCB, WDMarvel will work with this drive

К Palmer, Charger, VENICE нужна разлоченная плата.

но уже многое по другому, из-за второго транслятора, который умирает на раз. нужно запись отключать, не строит карту голов, не управляет картой в ОЗУ. Паспорт не правильно читает и еще несколько засад, уже не помню.

Palmer, Charger, VENICE need an unlocked board.

but a lot is different, because of the second translator, which dies at once. you need to turn off the recording, does not build a head map, does not manage the map in RAM. The passport does not read correctly and there are several more ambushes, I don't remember.

Is there anyway to talk to the drive with MarV403? If you have the step by step method, pls share and thanks! Recently received quite a number of this drive, many with glists and need to clear it...thanks!

If your drive is unlocked, then just work with him, 4.0.3 should work in this case
You can disable write by "Restart FW and block loading FW" function

If drive allow to read/write rom, try "Block loading FW by changing FW image"
Should work if this is some type of SED lock, but not for locked PCB...
