Greetings,
Since WDMarvel requires IDE/SATA direct or indirect (via PCIe, PCI, PCMCIA, ExpressCard, eSATA, etc.) connections for accessing and manipulating HDD's SA and ROM, and Thunderbolt supports PCIe, is it possible to access and manipulate HDD's SA and ROM via Thunderbolt or USB4 PCIe Tunnelling (with a USB4/Thunderbolt to SATA adapter) especially if using computers such as Surface Pro 8 and 9, Surface Laptop 5 and Studio, and Surface Studio 2+ which has USB-C ports with USB 4.0 and Thunderbolt 4?
Just curious, thanks!

Get a demo and check it out
supported connections : sata ahci, ide, usb, uart.
while there are enough standard protocols, there is no point in USB4/Thunderbolt-SATA
